SystemWeaver Partners with IAV to Address the Structural Root Cause of Engineering Complexity

SystemWeaver are announcing a partnership with IAV, one of the automotive industry’s leading engineering service providers. Together, the two companies address complexity at its structural root: the lack of consistency across domains, organizations, and product lifecycles, rather than treating its symptoms.

Software-defined and safety-critical product development is growing more complex by the year. Requirements, architecture, software, testing, safety, and cybersecurity evolve in parallel, while still needing to remain consistent, traceable, and compliant with regulatory demands. Many organizations respond with fragmented toolchains, manual coordination, and additional governance layers, which increases coordination effort, limits reuse, and raises risk to quality and compliance.

IAV brings experience in implementing and scaling engineering transformations, from pilot to scaled deployment. SystemWeaver brings product-centric tooling for the software-defined era: a connected product model with embedded change management, configurable metamodels so that engineering defines the rules rather than the tool, and an open architecture that integrates into existing tool landscapes. Through the partnership, IAV can support its customers in the shift toward a truly product-centric engineering approach: one built on a shared engineering foundation rather than isolated data and tool silos.

Q&A at ELIV

A Q&A session on the value proposition will take place at the SystemWeaver booth (booth 47) at ELIV 2026 in Baden-Baden on October 15.
