Strong engagement at the GAIA workshop: Trustworthy AI in Systems Engineering – Keeping Control and Traceability

The central question during this workshop was one that matters more as engineering complexity grows:

“How does AI fit into systems engineering without eroding control, traceability, or engineering accountability?”

The answer is not to add AI as a black-box layer on top of engineering work. It is to ground AI in structured engineering context, making it useful, controlled, and reviewable.

That is where SystemWeaver has a distinct foundation. Requirements, architecture, software, interfaces, tests, traceability, and change impact are already connected in one consistent information model. AI reasoning over structured engineering data performs fundamentally differently than AI reasoning over loose documents.

Demonstrated in practice

The workshop demonstrated this with a traceability analysis using bounded evidence from an automotive immobilizer model. Engineers worked through both manual and AI-supported analysis, showing how AI can navigate complexity while engineers stay in control.
