Anders Hallgren has been with SystemWeaver for 6 years. He recently became VP of Product Management, so we wanted to check in with him to gain some insights into how he sees the product.

What is SystemWeaver?

We provide a tool that aims to help engineers collaborate, fostering an environment where continuous product compliance is achievable. We are committed to ensuring that control is maintained throughout complex development projects. This approach empowers our customers with comprehensive oversight and control, enabling them to stay compliant with various standards such as ISO 21434, ISO 26262, UN R155, and R156, as well as software update management systems and cybersecurity regulations. We aim to be the cornerstone of effective and compliant project management in these areas.

Our approach centers on offering customers tailored solutions in cybersecurity, ISO 21434, Functional Safety, and systems design. This enables them to navigate their projects with precision and control, while always maintaining the collaborative aspect. By keeping data integrated, we lay the groundwork for enhanced control, speed, and compliance within the company, ensuring that every aspect of its operation aligns with its objectives and regulatory requirements.

In addition to our diverse offerings, we have a global presence and we take responsibility not only for the solutions we deliver but also for the expertise surrounding them. We equip our customers with a versatile tool that enhances their ability to manage and control information effectively. But we also offer in-depth expertise on the processes and best practices across various domains, including ISO 21434, ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and more, all integral to the core of SystemWeaver.

What does the future of automotive hold?

We can clearly see, at least from where I sit on the 23rd floor in Citygate with a view of Karlatornet, that different perspectives really come in and set strict requirements for the companies we have as customers today.

The combination of a steadily increasing complexity in the products that our customers build, and stricter laws around what it is to be compliant and certified to various standards makes it hard to stay in control and have one source of truth with the design documentation. This is where we come in, our big goal in life is to help with this.

Maintaining control across various departments, geographically different offices, platforms, projects, and products is crucial, and for this, you need help and support from a tool. We want to contribute to this to create a better world. At the same time, we recognize the increasing demands for functionality, quality, and faster production in today’s competitive landscape, both from the customers and the competitors. To meet these challenges effectively, you need SystemWeaver.

Why is SystemWeaver the best option out there?

Our core strength lies in our time-tested and continuously evolving concept, refined over 23 years. We have a platform with built-in strength for solving these exact difficulties and challenges that the industry is facing. It won’t do to work in isolated silos in any perspective. It must be consistent past all borders: products and platforms. This commitment, combined with our amazing attention to detail, firm focus on quality, dedication to customer satisfaction, and a 20-year track record backed by a comprehensive knowledge bank, positions us as the industry’s best.
